*FYI for anyone asking for the food to be delivered* We ordered from here today and the food was pretty good but I was surprised that they charged us 1€ extra for every dish we ordered. Even for extras like Naan and Roti. So the price of the Naan is basically increased by 100% if the food is being delivered. The overall price is still fair but we would have appreciated being given this information beforehand. I haven't been able to find this "delivery rule" on their website or on the online menus. I've been told that the menus at the restaurant mention this but it doesn't help a new customer who's never actually been to the restaurant.

Good food. Their pakoda was very tasty so are their roti and curries.

First I would like to talk about the owners, they make you feel super comfortable and are very humble. While making a conversation didn't feel like we are in a different country. This is one of the thing I always look in a Restaurant, a warm greeting. Coming to food, it was a mixed feeling, Dal Makhni; Paneer Makhni and Mughlai Chicken was amazing, the butter naan was great as well. But on the other hand few items was not upto the mark. Tandoori chicken was marinated well, but it was quite visible that it was not fresh, but marinated and frozen. Same was the case with Phirni, I come from Delhi and I am crazy about Phirni, in Netherlands we generally don't see it that often in Indian Restaurants, but when I noted that in the menu, it was a must have. It felt frozen as well, and had a weird taste where you can feel, it's quite old.

Price-performance top. Quite tasty and also cheap (large vegetarian dishes from around 6.50, Lassi 0.2 only 1 euro, 0.4 only 2 euros. Very good

The food was very good and the head of the house was friendly and accommodating.

For me the most attractive Indian restaurant in Heidelberg. From € 5.90 there is a large portion of curry that has always tasted good so far. The offer for vegetarians is extensive. You don't have to wait long for your meal (5 to 10 minutes) and the staff is always friendly. I highly recommend stopping by. I find Mango Lassi at Raja Rani particularly tasty.

Food was really good and i went here on Sunday night 10 pm (22:00)you guys can put board like don't smoke, but can't u guys put one board or you must tell that we don't accept card during this day and this time only we accept cash. People have sense that they must not smoke inside that restaurant but you guys must have atleast this sense to put board or to inform at the beginning bcz regularly you guys will accept card. At that night I searched ATM and withdraw money and paid bill it was almost 11:30 by that time. This is really bad next time please inform or put board at least.

Excellent food with good prices. All the foods are with authentic Indian tastes. It's priced quite well , staff behaviour is also good. This is the best Indian restaurant in Heidelberg. I highly recommend this place to have Indian foods.

We stopped here on our way to the palace. We were so happy this place was open on Sunday and the owner spoke very good English. My husband got the Mango Chicken and I got the Chickpea. Absolutely delicious, and the service was amazing!

Great cafeteria style Indian food.

It's an Indian cuisine restaurant. The food is just as good as when in India. You get samosas, parathas, mango lassi, etc which are delicious. The authentic dishes of India is well prepared here and the taste is really good. Definitely recommended! PS- if you like spicy food you can ask, while ordering, to make the food extra spicy and they happily do that.
